Whakatane Clay Target Club
About
Whakatane Clay Target Club is a community clay target club in Thornton, Bay of Plenty, on New Zealand's North Island.
The ground has two clay fields, both set up for American Skeet ABT. The club's shooting calendar also covers DTL and Sporting Clays, so there is something here for first-timers and for experienced clay shooters alike.
Regular practice sessions are held on Wednesdays, 13:00-16:00, while weekend shooting runs to the club shoot calendar. The club's headline fixture is the Whakatane 300 Single Rise, usually staged across late August and early September, alongside club championships and handicap cups through the season.
On site there is parking, toilets, changing rooms and wheelchair access.
