About
Club de Caza, Tiro y Pesca de Acapulco, A.C. — an international-level clay shooting range located approximately 25 km from Acapulco (Guerrero, Mexico) on the federal highway towards Pinotepa Nacional. The facility caters to both experienced athletes and those just beginning their journey into clay shooting.
The range features five stands for clay disciplines: for skeet and trap, with two of them being multifunctional and used for trap and double trap. A total of four combined trap/double trap/skeet fields are equipped with a Phonopull system. The traps are manufactured by Laporte, and the release system is Elettronica Progetti. In addition to Olympic trap and skeet, the range offers FITASC and five-stand, as well as a hunting simulation course. Separate areas for rifle and pistol shooters are available, with ranges up to 380 m for rifles.
The club has a proven track record of hosting top-level competitions: in 2017, it hosted a stage of the ISSF World Cup in shotgun shooting, where medals were contested in trap, skeet, and double trap for both men and women. Club members also participate in the FEMETI National Skeet Championship. The range is suitable for regular training, competition preparation, and corporate events.
