Carnview Farms Clay Target Shooting Complex
About
Carnview Farms Clay Target Shooting Complex — a clay target shooting range near Ballymena (County Antrim, Northern Ireland), established in 1996 by farmer and shooter James McKeown. The complex caters to both beginners and experienced clay shooters as well as competitive athletes.
The range offers a wide variety of clay shooting disciplines: skeet in three formats — English, Olympic, and NSSA (American); trap in several variations — ABT, DTL, double trap, Olympic trap; and compact sporting. The complex features four fully equipped stands. Registered NSSA series can be shot any day the club is open.
Facilities include a heated clubhouse with a lounge area, television, and light snack preparation options. The entire complex is paved for easy wheelchair access and is equipped with a special restroom for individuals with disabilities. Private lessons are conducted by ISSF-qualified instructors — for both beginners and experienced shooters. There is a program for juniors aged 12 to 18. The range also hosts corporate events, hen parties, stag parties, and women's and junior days.
Carnview Farms is suitable for first-time experiences in clay shooting, regular training, and preparation for competitions in ISSF and NSSA disciplines.
