Campo de Tiro Amster

Campo de Tiro Amster — a shooting range for clay target shooting in Turquel (Alcobaça municipality, Leiria district, Portugal), located between the Atlantic coast and the Sierra de Aire e Candeeiros mountains. Opened in December 2016, it caters to both beginners and experienced shooters training in disciplines of the Portuguese Federation of Hunting Shooting Sports (FPTAC).

The range offers a trap field with an automatic Robot Trap machine, as well as a compact sporting and hunting sporting area equipped with five machines. There is a metal plate for testing cartridges at a distance of 30 meters. Shooting is permitted only with smoothbore shotguns in calibers 12GA, 20GA, 16GA, 14 mm, 410GA, and 9 mm using shot cartridges (lead or steel).

Adjacent to the range is the Loja Amster store in Benedita, which sells shotguns, cartridges from leading brands (Fiocchi, Rio, Sulbeja, Clever), and hunting gear. The store also features a gunsmith workshop and a 75-meter indoor tunnel for sighting optics. Amster also conducts training courses for obtaining a federal category E license.

The range operates from March to September on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 15:00 to 19:00; on other days, it is by appointment only. Parking, including for people with disabilities, is available on-site. The range is suitable for regular training in trap and compact sporting in a convenient location in central Portugal.
