Auckland Metropolitan Clay Target Club

Auckland Metropolitan Clay Target Club (Auckland Met) is a shooting range for clay target shooting, located five minutes north of Pukekohe, Auckland Region, New Zealand. The club occupies an area of 25 hectares and is one of the largest clay target shooting clubs in the country.

The range features four trap/DTL fields, two bolt-trap fields, and three skeet fields. Sporting clays are also shot here. The machines used include Canterbury DTL for trap, Laporte for skeet and bolt-trap, and Gemini and others for sporting. DTL competition formats include Single Rise, Point Score, Single Barrel, Handicap by Distance, Trebles, Double Rise, and Minis. Club shoots are held monthly on the first and third Sunday, with practice on the first and third Saturday. At least one DTL field is always open.

The club has a fully licensed clubhouse and spacious parking. Club shotgun rentals are available — newcomers can come without their own gear and receive assistance from experienced club members. The club is a member of the New Zealand Clay Target Association (NZCTA) and hosts competitions at various levels, including school and junior events. Membership is open to shooters of all levels — from beginners to those preparing for provincial and national championships.
