About
WWC-Arolsen is the clay target shooting club "Waldeckischer WurftaubenClub Arolsen e.V.", operating at the shooting range WurfScheibenZentrum Bickerbusch in Volkmarsen-Külte (Hesse, Germany), near Bad Arolsen. The range is primarily oriented towards clay shooters — from beginners to competition participants.
The disciplinary offerings include Olympic trap, skeet, ABT, DTL, compact sporting, sporting parcours, and hunting simulation, including rollhase (Rollhase — hare simulation). FITASC disciplines are also represented. The range features a 15-machine layout for trap, skeet, and related disciplines, as well as a parcours with over 100 machines, including nine different rollhase. In total, shooters have access to 120 clay target machines. Equipment manufacturers include BOWMAN, Laporte, Promatic, and Progetti (Multi-Pull). Additionally, the club offers shooting with muzzle-loading firearms (flintlock and percussion shotguns, black powder cartridges).
For guests without their own equipment, shotgun rentals are available. The club conducts training for individual shooters and groups, including for beginner hunters. Seminars and training sessions are organized by prior arrangement via email. The range regularly hosts competitions of various levels — from club events to German championships. The shooting range is suitable for both first-time encounters with clay target shooting and systematic preparation for tournaments.
