Wurftaubenclub Wiesbaden e.V. is one of the most successful clay target shooting clubs in Germany, founded in 1966. The club operates the Schießsportanlage Rheinblick shooting range in the Wiesbaden-Dotzheim area, located in a forested area above Frauenstein, in the federal state of Hesse.
The range features three separate layouts (A, B, and C), each equipped with 15 Mattarelli machines. Trap and skeet are available on all three layouts. Additionally, the range hosts sporting, compact sporting, as well as hunting variants of trap and skeet. The management of the range is conducted through the Rangemaster Systems. Layout B is equipped with floodlighting, allowing for training during twilight hours.
Guest shooters have access to lockers in the shooting facilities, and there is ample parking available directly in front of the range. Ammunition can be purchased on-site. The club offers training for beginners and courses on safe handling of firearms. The range regularly hosts major competitions, including the International Trap Meeting and Wiesbaden Skeet Open.
Club athletes participate in the German, European, and Olympic championships. The range is suitable for both first-time shooters and experienced clay shooters preparing for top-level competitions. Opening hours are published in the layout occupancy plan on the official website.
