Wurfscheibenstand Weitwörth — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located a few kilometers from Salzburg, near Oberndorf, in the federal state of Salzburg (Austria). The facility is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters preparing for competitions.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting: skeet, trap, compact sporting, and hunting sporting, where shooters can practice typical hunting situations: incoming targets, looping targets, and the "running rabbit" from eight positions. All stands meet Olympic regulations and are used for training by participants in world, European, and national championships. The range is fully automated.
Gun rentals and ammunition are available on-site. A dedicated instructor provides an introductory briefing for newcomers and accompanies shooters during sessions. Regular courses in trap, skeet, and hunting sporting are organized for beginners and intermediate shooters. After shooting, visitors can relax at the on-site dining facility. There is ample parking available. The range also hosts corporate events and celebrations by prior arrangement.
