Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club
About
Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club (WTSC) is the only shooting range for clay target shooting in Winnipeg, located 4 km south of Oak Bluff on Highway 3, Manitoba, Canada. Established in 1965, the club is open to shooters of all levels — from beginners to athletes preparing for competitions.
The range offers a wide variety of clay target shooting disciplines. There are 4 fields for ABT. For Olympic trap, there are 2 international standard fields. For skeet, there are 2 American skeet fields and 2 Olympic skeet fields. Additionally, there is 1 portable five-stand.
The club provides shotgun rentals (12, 16, or 20 gauge), sells ammunition and protective gear (glasses, earplugs). Instructors are present on the fields during group shoots and corporate events; introductory skeet sessions and courses for beginners are conducted. A youth program is in place for shooters aged 12–18 years. The clubhouse is air-conditioned and equipped with a kitchen suitable for group events (corporate gatherings, birthdays, team parties).
Membership is not required — the range is open to all interested parties. Club members receive discounted rates on series and access to the range outside of official hours. WTSC is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and serious training for Olympic trap or skeet competitions.
