Vamdrup Skydebane
About
Vamdrup Skydebane — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Vamdrup (Southern Denmark region, Denmark), operating under the auspices of Vamdrup Jagtforening. The range is known as the largest clay target shooting center in Jutland and the second largest in all of Denmark.
The shooting facilities cover several disciplines: 2 hunting fields, 1 trap field, 2 Nordic trap fields, and 4 sporting layouts — a total of 9 layouts. Nordic trap is a Scandinavian variant of trap, where the shooter stands on one of five stations and receives targets from a single machine at a distance of 10 m. Sporting is represented at a competitive level: the range hosts qualifying competitions for the European and World Championships (UT til EM og VM). The club Team Claysport Syd, based here, is a member of Skydesport Danmark, allowing shooters to participate in national and international competitions.
Experienced instructors guide both beginners and prepared shooters. Corporate events (firmaskydning) and bachelor party celebrations (polterabend) with training in clay target shooting are provided. The range is supported by approximately 30 volunteers.
Vamdrup Skydebane is suitable for both first-time experiences with clay target shooting and serious preparation for competitions in sporting and trap.
