Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds — a municipal shooting range for clay target shooting in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), located at 3070 Merk Rd SW. The range is operated by Deshotels Arms, Inc. and is open to shooters of all skill levels — from those holding a shotgun for the first time to experienced competitive shooters.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting: trap, skeet, sporting, and five-stand. On the trap fields, targets are launched from a central green trap house; on the skeet fields, from high and low houses on the sides. The sporting course is designed for self-paced walking between stations, with payment made through the Briley smart card system. Weekly leagues for trap and skeet are held.
Shotgun rentals are available at a fixed daily rate; the pro shop sells ammunition in 12, 20, 28 gauge, and .410, as well as a full selection of Beretta shotguns and accessories. Corporate events, birthday parties, and bachelor parties are available for groups with dedicated space and an instructor; club facilities are available for rent. Beginner clinics are held every Saturday, providing all necessary equipment. Among the independent instructors is Luke Deshotel, a four-time world champion in skeet. The range is equipped with lighting on nine fields, allowing for evening shooting on weekdays.
