Tiro Federal Argentino (TFABA) is one of the oldest shooting clubs in Argentina, founded on September 28, 1891, in Buenos Aires. The club is located at Tambor de Tacuarí 501, CABA, and offers a wide range of disciplines for both beginners and experienced shooters.
The Trap section has a dedicated layout designed according to international standards. Among the Olympic disciplines, Trap and Skeet are available. Non-Olympic disciplines include Helices and Universal Trap; Hunting Courses are under development. The facility includes 4 multi-position fields, as well as a training area (Sector de Escuela) and a calibration zone (Sector de Calibrado). Practice is regulated by ISSF and FITASC internationally, as well as by the Argentine Shooting Federation (FAT) nationally. The facility is open from Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
In addition to clay target shooting, the club has sections for air guns, small-bore firearms, pistol (25 m, international), practical shooting (IPSC), rifle, black powder firearms, large-caliber hunting firearms, and Field Target. Courses for beginners and advanced shooters are available, as well as a program for university youth. The club organizes regular tournaments and championships. Among other amenities are a swimming pool, tennis courts, and bowling. TFABA welcomes both club members and casual visitors, making it accessible for first-time experiences in clay target shooting in Buenos Aires.
