Tiro a Volo Spinella
About
Tiro a Volo Spinella — a shooting range association (ASD) located in Torre Santa Susanna (Brindisi province, Apulia, Italy) and affiliated with the Italian Federation of Clay Shooting (FITAV). The range is situated in flat terrain among ancient olive groves and vineyards.
The infrastructure consists of four multipurpose fields for Olympic trap and one for compact sporting. Additionally, there is a dedicated area for simulating hunting, similar to sporting. Thus, the range covers a wide range of clay shooting disciplines — from Olympic trap to compact sporting, making it appealing to both competitive shooters and hunters looking to maintain their skills off-season.
The club has significant experience in hosting competitions: in 2012, it held the CISM World Championship, and each year the range hosts national-level competitions, including the Trofeo Spinella and the Memorial Nicola Caramia. For beginners and youth, there are clay shooting courses led by federal instructor Sofia Salinaro.
