Tiro a Volo LAZIO
About
A.S.D. Tiro a Volo Lazio — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Rome (Via Tiberina KM 2, Prima Porta district), just a few kilometers from the city center. The association was founded in 1980; it is affiliated with the Italian Tiro a Volo Federation (FITAV) and recognized by CONI. The range is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters preparing for competitions.
The complex features six multifunctional stands, each equipped for various Olympic and non-Olympic disciplines of clay target shooting. Among the confirmed disciplines are trap, skeet, and helium shooting. FITAV sources also indicate the presence of double trap and varied trap, as well as sporting. The official website features a separate section for FITASC, indicating the organization of competitions or training in the FITASC format. The multifunctionality of the stands allows for alternating disciplines depending on the competition schedule or the needs of the shooters.
The infrastructure includes parking, a gunsmith, a bar, and shooting courses for various skill levels. The range regularly hosts regional and national competitions — notably, the Ekonet Trophy in helium shooting was held here. The website features sections with a calendar of events, classifications, and real-time results (including multipull), indicating the active competitive life of the club.
The shooting range encompasses the entire journey of a shooter — from the first shot in beginner courses to preparation for official FITAV competitions.
