About
Tir der Kempen — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located in Noorderwijk (Herentals), Antwerp province, Belgium. The club welcomes both beginners and experienced shooters competing at national and international levels.
The range offers several disciplines of clay target shooting. Three covered layouts are equipped for Olympic trap. In addition to trap, there is a compact sporting layout — a FITASC discipline conducted on a compact field with five stations. The club regularly hosts official competitions, including Grand Prix events and the Belgian Championships in compact sporting. A hunting course (jachtparcours / JPC) is also available, featuring variable machine placements that change approximately every three weeks.
On the premises, there is a cantina where shooters can enjoy refreshments and snacks between series. The club has a shop where advice can be obtained and firearms, ammunition, and accessories can be purchased. The shooting range is located just 10 minutes from the E313 motorway, providing convenient access.
Tir der Kempen is suitable for both training and recreational shooting, as well as preparation for competitions in trap and compact sporting. The club has over 370 members and is an active participant in the federative sports life of Belgium.
