Vancouver Gun Club — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Richmond (British Columbia, Canada), just minutes from Vancouver International Airport. The club has been in existence for over 100 years and is the only shooting range in Canada where international trap operates year-round.
The range offers four disciplines of clay target shooting: ABT, international trap, skeet, and international skeet, sporting, and five-stand. The total number of fields includes 14 American trap fields, 2 international trap fields, 2 skeet and international skeet fields, a full sporting course, and a five-stand facility. The club regularly hosts major competitions: the British Columbia Provincial Championship, the Canadian CTA Championship, the Canadian National International Trap and International Skeet Championships, and tournaments for PITA, ATA, NSCA, and FITASC.
The range is exclusively shotgun: rental rifles are not provided, and rifles and pistols are not allowed. Introductory courses are available for beginners, including "Introduction to Clay Target Shooting" and the "Guns & Roses" program. There is a youth program for shooters under 18 years old. The infrastructure includes a clubhouse with a commercial kitchen, shower facilities, a covered barbecue area, and parking for RVs with water and electrical hookups. The range is situated on a 40-acre site and is suitable for both beginners and shooters preparing for the highest level of competition.
