TAV San Martino
About
TAV San Martino — a shooting range for clay target shooting in Rio Salso (Tavullia, province of Pesaro and Urbino, Marche region, Central Italy). The complex, managed by the Pacassoni family for over 50 years, is one of the largest and most active shooting facilities in the country, affiliated with both FITAV (Italian Federation of Clay Target Shooting) and FITASC.
The range features 8 multifunctional stands for clay target shooting. Compact sporting is available on all 8 stands, making TAV San Martino one of the leading training centers for FITASC competitions in Europe. The Olympic trap is located on stands 3, 4, and 5; skeet is on stand 5. The stands are named after partner manufacturers: Eurotarget, Mattarelli, Beretta, Jack Jones, Benelli, RC. Mattarelli machines are the recognized standard for Olympic and sporting disciplines. In 2024, the San Martino Benelli Tower will be constructed at the range — the tallest shooting tower in Italy, designed for launching targets from great heights during competitions and shootouts.
The infrastructure includes a food point operating daily and a full-service restaurant during major competitions. The range offers courses for beginners and personalized training for experienced shooters, as well as the organization of corporate events and competitions. The secretariat handles FITAV membership registration on-site.
TAV San Martino regularly hosts grand prix and national championships in compact sporting, and in August 2026, it will be the venue for the 22nd FITASC World Championship in compact sporting. The range is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and for training top-level athletes.
