Tiro a Volo "San Martino"
About
TAV San Martino is a shooting range for clay target shooting, located in Rio Salso di Tavullia (province of Pesaro-Urbino, region of Marche, Italy), on hills approximately 170 m above sea level. The range was founded by the Pacassoni family in 1971 and has gradually grown to become one of the leading centers for clay target shooting in Italy, affiliated with FITAV. The complex features 8 stands, offering four disciplines. Compact sporting is the main focus and is supported across all 8 stands, providing maximum flexibility for FITASC competition preparation. Olympic trap is conducted on four stands (3, 4, 5, and partially 2). Universal Trench is available on three stands (3, 4, 5). Skeet is on stand 5. From 2024, the highest shooting tower in Italy — San Martino Benelli Tower — will operate at the range, designed for practicing targets at great heights and speeds. The stands are named after partner manufacturers: Beretta, Benelli, Franchi (shotguns), Fiocchi, and RC (ammunition). The range regularly hosts regional and national competitions, including the Golden Grand Prix of compact sporting, which serves as a qualifier for the Italian national team. Courses for beginners and specialized courses for experienced athletes (compact, trap) are available, along with scientific-methodological support from a coach with a scientific degree (functional training, optometry, sports psychology). There is parking, a café with snacks, and a restaurant during major competitions.
