TAV Saccolino
About
TAV Saccolino — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located near the city of Noto in the province of Syracuse (Sicily, Italy). The facility is part of the official calendar of the Italian Federation of Clay Shooting (FITAV) and regularly hosts national-level competitions, making it one of the key shooting ranges in southern Italy.
The main disciplines are trap and compact sporting. The range has repeatedly served as a venue for the FITAV Grand Prix in compact sporting, particularly in the format of 100 targets under FITASC rules. Participants in these competitions include shooters from all over Sicily and mainland Italy, which attests to the appropriate level of infrastructure and organization. Regional championships in trap and compact sporting are also regularly held at this range.
The shooting range is located a few kilometers from the baroque center of Noto and near the Vendicari Nature Reserve and the Villa Romana del Tellaro, making it an attractive place not only for athletes but also for those who combine training with leisure in Sicily.
TAV Saccolino is suitable for both experienced competitors preparing for federal competitions and shooters looking to master trap or compact sporting in a Mediterranean environment.
