About
Sydney International Shooting Centre (SISC) — a shooting range on 80 hectares of semi-rural land in Cecil Park, Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Built in 1999 specifically for the 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, it remains one of the most well-equipped shooting venues in Australia and hosts competitions at international, national, and club levels.
Clay target shooting is featured on 11 outdoor fields: 3 fields for trap and skeet to ISSF standards (Olympic trap/skeet) and 8 multi-disciplinary fields where American skeet and five-stand sporting are conducted.
For rifle disciplines, there are three indoor electronic ranges: a 10-meter range (60 positions), a 25-meter range (4 sections of 10 positions each), and a 50-meter range (60 positions) — all equipped with SIUS AG electronic scoring systems. Additionally, there is a 25-meter range with paper turning targets for pistols up to .45 caliber. The final range with a 220-seat grandstand is used for official competitions.
The shooting range offers firearm rentals, beginner training, and a Try Shooting program for unlicensed individuals. On-site accommodations include cottage lodging, camping, conference rooms, and corporate event facilities. SISC is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and preparation for high-level competitions.
