About

The Hunting and Sporting Shooting Range of the District Board of the Polish Hunting Association (ZO PZŁ) in Opole is located in the Grudzice area, at Strzelecka Street 80D. The facility serves as the main regional hub for clay target shooting and hunting multi-discipline sports in southern Opole Voivodeship, catering to both experienced shooters and beginners.

The range features a 7-position skeet field and a 5-position trap field. Additionally, there is a 15-meter high "Bajant" tower with three shooting positions designed to simulate high-flying birds. For hunting multi-discipline events, there are hunting simulation axes: "Hare in Flight" (35 m, shotgun), "Boar in Flight" (50 m, rifle), as well as static rifle axes at 100 m for zeroing firearms and testing optics (stationary deer, fox). Besides the clay target fields, there is a dedicated 25 m pistol axis for sport and defensive shooting, as well as rifle axes at 50 and 100 m.

The range is operated by host Dariusz Nikisz and senior instructor Jan Kowalski, who conduct mandatory courses for obtaining hunting licenses and training for sport shooters. The range regularly hosts district competitions and cup tournaments. Nearby, there is Karczma Zagłoba offering traditional cuisine and guest rooms, allowing for multi-day events. The facility is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and preparation for district championship level competitions.
