STEYR ARMS Jagd- & Schießzentrum in Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria) is one of the largest shooting ranges in the region, located approximately 40 minutes south of Vienna. The range encompasses a wide variety of disciplines and is designed for both hunters and sport shooters of all skill levels.
The outdoor shooting field features a total of ten shooting stations for clay target shooting. Two stations are equipped for trap and skeet shooting for sport shooters. Sporting clays are represented by five stations with various target trajectories, including the "cat rabbit" and a 30-meter tower that presents challenges even for experienced shooters. For beginners and young hunters, three stations with straightaway targets are provided.
In addition to stand shooting, the range offers six rifle lanes ranging from 50 to 100 m, two lanes at 200–300 m for long-distance shooting practice, as well as five pistol bays. On-site amenities include a restaurant, the STEYR ARMS pro shop with a full range of firearms, optics, ammunition, and accessories, as well as a gunsmith workshop. Rental of shotguns, rifles, and pistols is available directly on-site. The shooting school offers lessons with an instructor, including courses for beginners and young hunters. Membership in the MANNLICHER Schützenverein provides preferential conditions for using the range and the opportunity to participate in national and international competitions. The range is accessible for individuals with limited mobility.
