About

Società Tiro a Volo Serpiano — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Serpiano, Canton Ticino, Switzerland. The club was founded in 1965 by a group of enthusiasts and today it brings together around one hundred members. Over the decades, the range has become a notable hub for clay target shooting in the Swiss-speaking part of Switzerland.

The main discipline is trap: competitions are held in series of 100 targets in categories A, B, and C. The range has hosted international competitions, including the Grand Prix Banca del Gottardo and the Grand Prix Eberhard. Each year, the club organizes its own calendar of events: the San Giuseppe Shoot, the Lucchini Memorial, the Chek Pusterla Memorial, and the Christmas Shoot. The club is also a participant in the Ticino Championship.

For those taking their first steps in clay target shooting, the club holds a beginners' day. The range has undergone infrastructure upgrades and improvements to the entire shooting complex initiated by the club itself.
