Socapesca Headquarters Campestre
About
Socapesca Shooting Club — Headquarters Campestre is located in Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, at Av. Mendanha, 3630. Founded in 1968 as the Alto Petrópolis Hunting and Fishing Association, the club has grown into one of the largest shooting ranges in the state and is a recognized center for clay target shooting at the level of the Federação Gaúcha de Caça e Tiro (FGCT).
The range specializes in clay target disciplines. Compak Sporting and Skeet are the flagship events: the club's team has won the FGCT state championship title in these disciplines in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017. Hunting simulation competitions in the sporting format are also held. The club has hosted international competitions such as the Grand Prix Brasil and Open Zoli in Compak Sporting under the auspices of FITASC.
Among other disciplines are IPSC (Shotgun, Rifle, Mini-Rifle) and IDPA, for which separate pistol/dynamic lanes are provided. The club offers full documentation support for the Brazilian Army (CR, traffic guides, apostille, etc.). Meals and ammunition sales are organized during competitions. The club actively conducts competitions of various levels — from FGCT ranking stages to international tournaments.
The range is suitable for both experienced clay shooters preparing for competitions and those who are just starting to get acquainted with Compak Sporting or Skeet.
