Shymkent Shooting Plaza

Shymkent Shooting Plaza is a shooting complex in Shymkent (Kazakhstan), located in the Kazygurt microdistrict at 90/1 Kazynaly Street. It is the largest shooting center in the Central Asian region, built with the support of the ISSF, the Asian Confederation of Sport Shooting, and the Kazakhstan Federation of Sport Shooting.
The range hosts competitions in clay target shooting: trap, skeet, and mixed skeet. It was here that the 16th Asian Championship in shooting sports took place in August 2025, featuring over 800 athletes from 27 countries competing in more than 100 disciplines among youth, juniors, and adults. The complex regularly hosts stages of the Republic of Kazakhstan Cup, national championships, and international tournaments in clay target shooting.
In addition to clay target disciplines, the facility has ranges for rifle shooting: pistol and rifle at distances of 10 m (airgun), as well as moving target shooting. In 2021, the Asian Championship in airgun shooting was held here. Thus, the complex covers the full spectrum of Olympic shooting disciplines.
There is free parking on the premises. The complex is suitable for both training national team athletes and beginners who want to try clay target shooting or rifle shooting for the first time in Shymkent.
