The Piestingau Shooting Range (Schießplatz Piestingau) is located in Tattendorf, Lower Austria, and belongs to the Hubertusrunde Tattendorf club, founded in 1927. The facility has been in operation since 1949 and is one of the oldest and most renowned venues for clay target shooting in Austria.
The range offers four stands for clay target shooting: two trap fields, one skeet field, and two sporting clays fields. Additionally, there is a stand for simulating a hunting ground. Competitions in Olympic trap shooting and ABT are held on the trap fields. The range regularly hosts state and international championships, including the Austrian Trap Championship and competitions with firearms on wild boar — including the World Championship.
There is a club restaurant on-site where shooters can eat and relax. Registration for shooting is done directly on-site with the range officer (Schießwart).
The facility is suitable for both beginners taking their first steps in clay target shooting and experienced shooters preparing for competitions at the level of the Austrian Championship and international tournaments.
