Scottish Clay Shooting Centre — a shooting range for clay target shooting located near St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. The centre has been operating since 1999 and welcomes both beginners and experienced shooters, as well as corporate groups and parties for hen and stag dos.
The range offers a wide variety of clay shooting disciplines: skeet (English, ISU, and NSSA), DTL, sporting in various formats, and FITASC for experienced shooters. The facility features a high tower with two traps and a simulated flush setup — an imitation of a bird flush suitable for large groups and competitions. Sporting is tailored to different hunting scenarios: from driven grouse to challenging high targets. The range is a qualified venue for registered SCTA skeet competitions and also hosts championships in clay target shooting.
The infrastructure includes an indoor training area for practice in any weather. The centre provides rental shotguns, ammunition, hearing and eye protection, as well as shoulder pads. Qualified instructors conduct lessons at three levels: introductory (15 targets), standard (25–50 targets), and advanced individual courses. The minimum recommended age is 12 years. The facility is accessible for visitors with disabilities. Additionally, archery and axe throwing are available.
The range is suitable for both first-time experiences in clay target shooting and preparation for SCTA-level skeet or sporting competitions.
