Schietsportcentrum Emmen is located in Emmer-Compascuum (Drenthe province, Netherlands) and is one of the most comprehensive shooting ranges in the country for clay target shooting and rifle disciplines. The range is part of the Geluidssportcentrum "Pottendijk" — a designated area for loud sports, allowing for training and competitions without noise restrictions.
Clay target shooting is represented by four fields. Trap: two skeet fields. There is also a hunting simulation used for both hunting training and group events and corporate activities. The range is an official training base for the national KNSA clay target team and regularly hosts regional, district, and national championships in trap and skeet.
The indoor range features 11 shooting points covering distances of 10, 12, 25, and 50 meters for both air and firearms; the hall is equipped with an electronic scoring system and professional ventilation. The outdoor rifle range allows shooting at 50, 100, and 300 meters and is also equipped with electronic scoring.
On the first floor of the indoor range, there is a café with a terrace overlooking the shooting fields. Certified instructors offer courses for beginners in both clay target shooting and rifle shooting. The range is suitable for everyone — from first-time introductions to the sport to preparation for the highest level competitions.
