Schießstand Werlte GmbH & Co. KG
About
Schießstand Werlte is a shooting range for clay target shooting and hunting firearms sports, located in the city of Werlte (Lower Saxony, Germany). The facility caters to both beginners and experienced shooters and is one of the largest ranges of its kind in the region.
Clay target shooting is the main focus of the range. The trap area features an "Olympic level" layout with 15 machines, supporting both sporting and hunting disciplines of trap shooting. A combined trap/skeet layout operates separately. For sporting and compact sporting, there are four dedicated layouts with over 100 automatic machines — one of the largest hunting park-sportings in Germany. The "rollhase" discipline is also available. Own cartridges are permitted; cartridges and clays can be purchased on-site.
In addition to clay target disciplines, the range offers a rifle range with several lanes at 100 m and a running boar lane (50 m), as well as a pistol range with six lanes at 25 m. Shotgun rentals are available for guests without their own firearms; hearing protection is included in the basic package for beginners. A shooting school operates with courses for beginners and preparation for hunting exams, as well as training in various disciplines upon request. The range features a pro shop for hunting firearms and equipment, a club room with hot and cold kitchen facilities, and a barbecue area. Regular competitions and corporate events are held.
