The Vluynbusch shooting range of the Kreisjägerschaft Wesel e.V. is located in Neukirchen-Vluyn (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) and serves as the main shooting facility for hunters and sport shooters in the region.
Clay target shooting is represented by trap and skeet. The range allows the use of both lead and steel shot — it has received the appropriate permit from the Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel and is the first in the region where shooting with steel shot is officially permitted.
In addition to the clay target disciplines, the facility features a 100-meter rifle range and a "laufender Keiler" (moving boar target) area — a traditional hunting exercise. Short firearm sessions are held on Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Ammunition can be purchased directly on-site on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The range is actively used for competition preparation: training days are held for participants in district and state championships in trap, skeet, rifle, and pistol. A valid hunting license, sports shooter insurance policy, or one-day insurance is required for attendance. Registration for shooting is done through coordinator André Heller.
