Schießanlage Hörabach
About
Schießanlage Hörabach — a shooting range for clay target shooting and hunting training, located in the village of Hoerabach near Straubing (Bavaria, Germany). The facility has been managed by Jagd und Schießsport Obermeier since 2014 and is known as an intimate, family-friendly range with a long-standing tradition in the region.
The range features three stands for clay target shooting: trap, skeet, and sporting clays. For rifle and smoothbore shooters, there are two 100-meter lanes for long guns and a moving target stand with a "boar" target at 50 meters.
The range is actively used by hunting schools for training, as well as experienced hunters and sport shooters. On-site, there is a pro shop where firearms can be selected and ammunition purchased. Courses for beginners and individual training are available. The range is open for corporate events and private groups — organizers provide full support, including catering.
Visits are possible only by prior telephone appointment; shooting is organized from five persons in a group. The range is suitable for both first-time experiences with clay target shooting and regular training before the hunting season or competitions.
