About

The Drügendorf shooting range is located near Eggolsheim in Bavaria, Germany, and serves as a joint facility for two organizations: the Kreisgruppe Forchheim of the Bavarian Hunting Association (BJV) and the Bayerischer Wurftauben Club Erlangen (BWC). The range primarily caters to hunters and clay shooters of various skill levels.

Clay shooting is represented by Olympic disciplines: trap and skeet. Additionally, hunting skeet and hunting trap are available—disciplines that simulate real hunting situations with shooting at clay targets. The BWC facility operates at least on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

Alongside the clay shooting ranges, the BJV offers a hunting shooting complex: rifle ranges from 25 to 100 m, a moving target "lying boar," and a "running boar." Positions for small-caliber and large-caliber pistol shooting are available for handgun shooters. There is also an archery range and a muzzle-loading shooting area on the premises.

The shooting range is included in the official list of hunting shooting facilities in Bavaria and regularly hosts district championships of the BJV for hunting shooting in Upper and Middle Franconia. The facility is suitable for both training hunters before the season and clay shooters preparing for competitions in trap and skeet.
