Riga Shooting Center
About
Riga Shooting Center — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located near Silakrogs in the Ropažs municipality (Latvia), approximately 30 km from the center of Riga. The complex opened in 2006 and caters to both experienced shooters and beginners.
The main offering consists of clay target shooting: four compact sporting stands and two skeet fields utilize varied terrain and vegetation, providing a wide range of trajectories and speeds for the targets. Additionally, there is a dedicated Olympic trap field equipped with 15 throwing machines. The entire system is outfitted with the automatic acoustic system "Range Master," allowing for training independently of other shooters. Two fields are equipped with lighting for shooting in the dark.
In addition to clay target shooting, the complex offers a 100 m rifle range with a "running boar" section (35 m) and a "running moose" section (100 m), as well as pistol galleries that have been open since 2020. These disciplines are suitable for preparing for the hunting season and taking the hunting exam.
Regular competitions of various levels are held at the range — from club tournaments to the championships of Latvia and the Baltics. There is an opportunity to organize corporate events and private celebrations. A café operates on the premises.
