About
The shooting sector is part of the National Training Center of Korea (진천국가대표종합훈련원) located in Jincheon County, Chungcheongbuk-do Province, approximately 100 km south of Seoul. The complex opened in 2017 as the main training base for the Republic of Korea's national teams in Olympic sports.
The shooting range is primarily designed for training national team athletes. The trap and skeet fields operate in the shotgun shooting sector—disciplines included in the Olympic Games and ISSF World Championships.
In addition to shotgun disciplines, the complex includes indoor ranges for shooting with air rifles and air pistols at 10 m, small-bore rifles at 50 m, as well as pistol disciplines at 25 m (rapid fire and standard pistol). All facilities meet ISSF requirements and are used for preparation for international competitions.
Access to the shooting range is restricted: the facility is oriented towards accredited athletes and coaches of national teams, rather than the general public.
