About

The O. Asanov Shooting Club is one of the largest shooting ranges for clay target shooting in Central Asia, located in Bayserke village of Almaty Region, Kazakhstan, 26 km from Almaty along the Western Europe — Western China highway. The club was founded in October 2002 under the name "Alatau" and was renamed in 2007 in honor of the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Alexander Asanov — the 1977 European Champion in trap shooting.

The range features 13 stands and over 150 clay target machines from leading global manufacturers, with equipment that meets ISSF standards and is used in the Olympic Games. Five combined stands are designated for Olympic and non-Olympic disciplines of clay target shooting: trap, skeet, and compact sporting. The arrangement of the machines allows for the simulation of various bird flights and animal movements, making training closer to hunting conditions. The club hosts national and international competitions.

The club employs sports masters, honored coaches, and gunsmiths. Initial instruction and training in shotgun shooting are available for beginners and experienced shooters. On the premises, there is a café with its own menu, a children's playground, table tennis, and board games — the club is suitable for family recreation and corporate events.
