Σκοπευτήριο Σκύδρας

The Σκοπευτήριο Σκύδρας shooting range is located near the town of Skýdra (Pella County, Central Macedonia, Greece) — on a hill above the village of Mavrovouni, approximately 2 km from the center of Skýdra. The range is owned by the municipality of Skýdra and is managed by the Skýdra Shooting Club «Oi Makedones» (Σκοπευτικός Σύλλογος Σκύδρας «Οι Μακεδόνες»). Regular operations began in 2005, and the official opening took place on May 26, 2006.

The main disciplines of the range are skeet and trap. The skeet field hosts official competitions of the Hellenic Shooting Federation (ΣΚ.Ο.Ε.), including the Federation Cup and the Panhellenic competitions for men's and youth categories. The range is known for its favorable shooting backdrop: open skies and a panorama of the Vermio, Vorras, Dzena, Paiko mountains, and the Janitsa plain. It was here that the national record for men in skeet was set on March 31, 2013 — 123/125.

The range is suitable for both training experienced shooters and preparing for regional and national competitions. The club «Oi Makedones» is active on social media (Facebook).
