About

The Poussan Ball-Trap shooting range is located in the commune of Poussan (Occitanie region, France), approximately 25 km southwest of Montpellier and 16 km north of Sète. It is one of the largest shooting ranges for clay target shooting in France, covering about 25 hectares with fully automated layouts.

The range offers seven disciplines of clay target shooting: Olympic Trap (2 layouts), Universal Trap (4 layouts), DTL (4 layouts), Olympic Skeet (5 layouts), and Compact Sporting (8 layouts). All series of targets are loaded onto smart cards, allowing shooters to independently choose their discipline and layout. The range is affiliated with two federations: FFBT (for non-Olympic disciplines) and FFTir (for Olympic disciplines ISSF).

The clubhouse, covering approximately 200 m², includes a gunsmith (armurerie) selling shotguns and ammunition — the range is a partner of the brands ZOLI and MARY ARM. Shotgun rentals, instructor services, and courses for beginners from the first shot to "haut niveau" training are available. The range is also a partner of the Hunters Federation of the Hérault department for conducting hunting license exams.

Infrastructure: shaded parking, access for people with reduced mobility, camper spots, Wi-Fi, air conditioning. The layout is suitable for both beginners from 12 years old and shooters preparing for regional, national, and international competitions.
