Palatka Skeet Club

Palatka Shotgun Sports — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Palatka, Florida, USA. The club is situated at 301 Skeet Club Road on approximately 160 acres of city land near the local airport. Founded in 1960 by a group of local hunters, it has grown from two fields to a full-fledged range that is now one of the leading facilities in the state for skeet and trap.

The range offers seven skeet fields, two trap fields (ATA certified, including wobble trap), and one five-stand field. Fields 2–6 and the five-stand operate on a long-range card system. The club is a member of NSSA and FSA and has repeatedly been awarded the title of "Intermediate Club of the Year" by NSSA — ten times in a row.

Each year, the club hosts registered skeet competitions: monthly one-day shoots and two major tournaments — the Azalea Open (February) and the Bass Capital Open (October). For guests and competitors, there are 50 camper spots with 30-amp hookups, showers and restrooms, as well as a large air-conditioned clubhouse with a kitchen and a covered picnic pavilion measuring 24×24 feet. Each June, the club hosts the Florida Youth Skeet Camp — a two-day camp for shooters aged 13–18 with volunteer instructors.

The location — approximately 1.5 hours from the Jacksonville and Orlando airports — makes it convenient for shooters from across the region: from the first shot to preparation for national-level competitions.
