About

NCTA Homegrounds — the official shooting range of the North Carolina Trapshooters Association (NCTA), located in Bostic, North Carolina, USA. The facility serves as the home base for the largest registered competitions in the state and is named after the North Carolina Trapshooters Hall of Fame, Inc.

The range specializes in trap — both Olympic and American disciplines of clay target shooting. Three major tournaments are held here annually: the Shoot SC State Shoot / NC Hall of Fame Shoot (April–May), the North Carolina State Championship (June), and the Fall Tournament (October).

The infrastructure of the range includes a campground with numbered sites — reservations are available through the official website. Golf carts are permitted on the premises provided they have insurance of $500,000 and annual registration. The range is a hub for club and competitive trap in the region: state champions are determined here, winners of the Big 50 series are awarded, and pin awards for categories AA27AA and AAA27AAA are given.

The facility is suitable for both experienced shooters preparing for registered ATA competitions and participants in the youth program AIM.
