Nepean Clay Target Club
About
Nepean Clay Target Club — a clay target shooting range located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. The club is situated in the Long Point Reserve near Cape Schanck, approximately 12 km south of Rosebud. The range caters to both experienced shooters and beginners.
The club offers a wide variety of clay target shooting disciplines. The facility features four DTL fields, a ball-trap field, a skeet field, a five-stand, and a universal trap field. Outside of the summer season, a popular night event — a 50-target simulated sporting — is held on the fourth Friday of each month.
The club sells ammunition both individually and by the box. After training sessions, a licensed bar serving beer and spirits operates, and barbecues are organized. There is a separate contact for corporate events. Membership is processed through the SSAA (Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia).
For newcomers, the club offers a trial session called "come and try" for $50, which includes shotgun rental and coaching. Juniors aged 12 and over can participate with appropriate licenses and under adult supervision. Experienced club members are ready to teach proper shooting techniques. The range is a member of the Australian Clay Target Association (ACTA) and is open to visitors and new members.
