National Shooting Center Chania
About
The National Shooting Center of Chania (Εθνικό Σκοπευτήριο Χανίων) is located in the Akrotiri area of Kampani, Chania, Crete, Greece, and is part of the Regional Athletic Center of EAK Chania. The shooting range covers an area of approximately 110 acres and is designed for both experienced shooters and beginners.
The range features three open stands for clay target shooting — trap and skeet. These disciplines are the main focus of the facility: members of the local associations SKOLEK and BARDAS, which specialize in trap and skeet, train and compete here.
In addition to the clay target stands, the complex includes an indoor range for air rifle shooting (10 m), an indoor range at 25 meters, and an indoor range at 50 meters. Among the associations based at the facility, there are also archers (SKOLEK).
The infrastructure of the shooting range includes grandstands with a total capacity of 500 spectators, a gym, a sauna, a canteen, and a clubhouse with a restaurant. The range is suitable for hosting official competitions in trap and skeet, as well as for regular training in all represented disciplines — from air guns to smoothbore firearms.
