About
Morton Clay Targets — a shooting range for clay target shooting near Edinburgh, located in Livingston (West Lothian, Scotland). The range was established in 2006 on the grounds of the Dalmahoy estate and combines open stands for clay shooting with an indoor rifle range.
The clay shooting section offers four skeet layouts, one compact sporting layout, and one ABT layout. This allows shooters to practice classic skeet in various formats, compact sporting with diverse target trajectories, as well as ABT — a discipline similar to Olympic trap. The range regularly hosts registered competitions under CPSA and SCTA regulations, including series of 100 targets in skeet and sporting.
The staff at the range are experienced shooters, several of whom have represented Scotland at the international level. Individual coaching and training are available for both beginners and experienced shooters. The range accommodates corporate events, team-building activities, and stag & hen parties.
Additionally, there is an indoor rifle range with 6 lanes, with distances from 7 to 100 meters, equipped with computerized targets and surveillance cameras. The range operates exclusively for private club members and FAC license holders.
The clubhouse, featuring a real fireplace, creates a cozy atmosphere for relaxation after shooting. The range is open five days a week and on select Sundays. Convenient access with parking available near the M8 motorway.
