Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club
About
Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, USA, spanning 600 acres of land. The club is open to all enthusiasts seven days a week year-round and offers one of the widest selections of clay shooting disciplines in the Midwest region. Clay target shooting is the club's main focus. Shooters have access to six sporting routes with a total of 30 stations, featuring over 120 different target presentations. Four trap fields provide classic practice on straight and angled targets, while two skeet fields focus on mounting and smooth tracking on crossing trajectories. Three enclosed and heated five-stand layouts allow shooting even during the winter season. A separate 25-shot FITASC course is designed for experienced shooters seeking competitive accuracy. The seasonal night format Cosmic Clays (November–March) takes place on the heated five-stand layout and offers a unique experience for those wanting to try shooting in the dark. Over three million targets are thrown annually at the range. Packages with instructors, shotgun rentals, ammunition, and protective gear are available for beginners and groups. Experienced instructors cater to both individual shooters and corporate groups. The facility also features rifle and pistol ranges, a standard archery range, and a seasonal 3D course for archers, as well as hunting grounds for pheasant, chukar, and quail. Trigger's Restaurant with a full bar operates daily and offers game dishes and chef's signature recipes. The club regularly hosts competitions, corporate events, and weddings.
