Mid-Valley Clays & Shooting School

Mid-Valley Clays & Shooting School — a shooting range for clay target shooting located in Gervais, Oregon, USA, situated in the Willamette Valley between Salem and Portland. The range is open to all without prior reservation and welcomes shooters of all levels — from those holding a shotgun for the first time to competition participants.

The range offers five disciplines of clay target shooting: sporting, five-stand, skeet, ABT, and helis. The sporting course consists of 13 to 15 stations, including an 18-meter variable-height tower. Two covered five-stand layouts are equipped with seven machines each. Skeet is represented by ten stations, and trap by nine fields. Helis is the only public facility of its kind in Oregon. Covered positions on several layouts protect shooters from rain and sun.

The range is exclusively a shotgun facility. The pro shop offers new and used shotguns, ammunition brands Fiocchi, Rio, and Browning, safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and accessories. Shotgun rentals, hand and motorized carts are available. Certified instructors provide individual lessons for beginners and experienced shooters; reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance. Group packages are available for corporate events, parties, and team building.

The range is suitable for both first-time encounters with shotguns and systematic preparation for competitions in sporting, skeet, or trap.
