Meadows Gun Club And Shooting School
About
Meadows Gun Club And Shooting School — a shooting range for clay target shooting in Forsyth, Georgia, USA. Established in 1989, it is located on over 400 acres of meadows and woodlands and is open year-round to both club members and the general public.
The range offers several disciplines of clay target shooting. Sporting is represented by three separate courses of varying difficulty (blue, white, and red), allowing shooters from beginners to competitive athletes to choose their level of challenge. All stands are equipped with fully automatic Promatic machines. In addition to sporting, the range features a five-stand layout, a FITASC practical layout, as well as skeet and DTL fields.
The club office and pro shop are housed in a wooden cabin in the woods overlooking the meadows. The shop offers ammunition, accessories, as well as products from Beretta and Gamebore. Shotgun rentals are available in 12 and 20 gauge. Three certified instructors — Kevin DeMichiel, Shelby Moon, and Bryce Floyd — provide individual lessons for beginners and competition preparation. Golf cart rentals are available for transportation between stands. A covered pavilion is used for corporate events and catering.
The range is suitable for both first-time experiences with clay target shooting and preparation for registered competitions — notably, it hosts the Central Georgia Circuit Shoot series.
