About

Martinez Gun Club — one of the oldest shooting clubs in the USA, founded in 1883 in Martinez, California. The range is located on a site of approximately 34 acres (14 ha) at 900 Waterbird Way and is open to the public four days a week.

Trap shooting is the club's main focus. American trap and international trap are available: one trap field. There are two skeet fields — they have been resurfaced, and the skeet houses have been updated; shooters can practice both American skeet and international skeet. The five stand features 13 active machines, providing a wide range of target trajectories. Helice (ZZ Bird) is also present at the range, although the Helice season begins after the hunting season ends. Additionally, the club offers sporting. Lighting is installed on the trap and skeet fields, allowing shooting in the evening — specifically on Wednesdays until 10 PM.

The clubhouse is equipped with air conditioning and heating, has a bar and restaurant; a family night with catering is held every Wednesday. Shotgun rentals, ammunition sales, and gunsmith services are available. NRA-certified instructors conduct individual lessons for beginners and experienced shooters; a youth program is in place. The club regularly organizes registered and non-registered competitions, including the annual Firecracker 400 tournament. There are RV parking spots available.
