About

Provazce Shooting Range is a sporting and hunting range of Olympic standards, located approximately 5 km northeast of the city of Písek (South Bohemia, Czech Republic), near the village of Chrastiny. Established in 1984 on municipal land, it is currently owned by the city of Písek and managed by Lesy města Písku s.r.o. The complex covers an area of 10 hectares.

Trap shooting is the main focus of the range. The side section includes two skeet fields equipped with Nasta and Matarelli machines, and two Olympic trap fields fitted with Promatic and FAB machines with microphone launch and Elfipa electronics. Additionally, there is a "high tower" field, a "running hare" field, and a compact sporting field. The range regularly hosts competitions at the level of the Czech Championship and the Czech Cup in skeet and trap. Since 2008, it has operated as a youth training center for the Czech Shooting Union.

The rifle section includes 100 m and 50 m ranges for shooting at stationary targets (6 shooters each), as well as moving targets — "running boar" (50 m), "running fox" (35 m), and "running target" (75 m). The range has a building with technical facilities and a relaxation and dining area. The entire complex is fenced and has ample parking.

Regular training sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday. On other days, by arrangement with the administration. The range is suitable for both experienced shooters preparing for competitions and for beginners and hunters.
