About

Laramie Trap Club — a shooting range for clay target shooting, located at 525 State Highway 230 in Laramie, Wyoming, USA. The club is focused on family recreation and brings together shooters of all skill levels — from beginners to participants in registered ATA competitions.

The range offers three disciplines of clay target shooting. ABT is the main discipline: during the regular season, 8 fields are in operation, and during the Wyoming State Championship, all 14 trap fields are utilized. Skeet is represented by one field, available to all shooters. The Five-Stand is equipped with a ClayMate system with voice activation and 8 machines, providing a wide variety of target combinations. The ClayMate system allows club members to shoot any day and at any time without the need for a separate puller — target tracking is done on a personal ClayMate card issued at the club desk. A mandatory briefing is conducted before the first use of the system.

The club regularly hosts registered ATA competitions and the annual Wyoming State Championship in ABT (the 111th edition in 2026, July 2–5), and a league is also active. Discounted participation conditions in the league are available for young shooters (under 18 years old). Ammunition is available on-site.

The range is suitable for both those taking their first steps in clay target shooting and experienced shooters preparing for regional competitions.
