Lakeside Sporting — a shooting range for clay target shooting and fishing lakes, located in Wymeswold near Loughborough (Leicestershire, England). The range is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters preparing for competitions.
The main focus is sporting: the facility features 18 stands equipped with Promatic traps that operate on a plug-and-play system with or without delay. The series includes a variety of targets: high pheasant, ABT, bouncing rabbit, and a crossing teal over the lake. There is also a dedicated area for Olympic skeet and compact sporting. Registration with CPSA confirms the hosting of competitions in sporting, compact sporting, five-stand, and skeet. Additionally, there is an airgun range with Gr8Fun targets.
The infrastructure of the range covers 36 acres of grounds, a café, and the Hadfield Guns shop with a wide selection of shotguns, ammunition, and accessories, as well as shotgun and protective gear rentals. Shooting lessons are available — from one-off sessions to six-week courses, including a safe handling course for beginners. The range regularly hosts corporate events, group shoots, and celebrations. There are four fishing lakes on-site, covering over 9 acres in total.
