Løvenskioldbanen Skytesenter
About
Løvenskioldbanen Skytesenter — the largest civilian shooting range in Norway, located in Eiksmarka (Bærum municipality) near Oslo. The range has been operational since 1951 and hosted the World Championship in trap shooting as early as 1954. It is open year-round and caters to both beginners and experienced trap shooters.
Trap shooting is the main focus of the facility: trap, skeet, and compact sporting. In addition to trap shooting, the range features facilities for rifle shooting: 50 m and 300 m rifle distances, as well as pistol ranges. The range is used by the Oslo police and the Royal Guard as the primary training base for rifle and pistol.
The range offers professional training for individual shooters and corporate groups, including the option to book an instructor before the official opening. The shop sells shooting vests, gloves, and other equipment. The Bergebu cabin is available for rent for corporate events, kick-offs, and celebrations. The range is suitable for first-time experiences with trap shooting and for competition preparation.
